Update On Isaac

Thank you so very much for your prayers for Isaac. Although the doctors are not giving the family much hope that he will survive, we know that our God is so much bigger than this situation. The family asked us to send a huge thank you to all that have been praying. They can feel your prayers and can see that through this painful situation God is doing something beautiful. They have had many opportunities to share about their hope in Christ with other parents in the hospital who have children in the same situation. Isaac himself has grown stronger in his faith and desires to get better so that he can serve the Lord. He shared with this parents that although he knows that if he dies he will be with the Lord, he does not want to die yet. He feels he has much to do and is doing everything in his power to get better and is an encouragement to his parents. The doctors decided today (Saturday) to grant his wish to come home tomorrow. He will continue taking chemotherapy in pill form until his next appointment on November 26th, at which time they will do some more testing. Please continue to pray.

OLOCM has been supporting Isaac and his family through our Benevolent Fund. Among other things, this Fund is used to help families in need to pay for medication, transportation and doctors visits. Please consider donating to this Fund at https://www.canadahelps.org/dn/16338. Choose Benevolent Fund in the drop-down menu. We are grateful for the support that OLOCM receives through finances and prayer! We can’t do the work which God has called us to without you.
