The ongoing pandemic has brought uncertainty to how we serve in Mexico, and yet God has continued providing for One Life.
This year we’re continuing our More Than a Roof campaign where instead of international teams coming to build houses, our team in San Quintin is building homes funded by donations from these volunteer groups and many other individuals.
Our goal is to build 10 homes as soon as possible in 2021. Nine of the homes will be built by One Life staff and local volunteers and one, a Unity Project, will be built by a collective of local pastors. Each home costs $8,000 CAD, making our entire goal for this project $80,000.

All of the families who will receive these homes were approved last year and are still waiting due to the many challenges the pandemic has presented.
We look forward to the day when restrictions are lifted and we can again host events and welcome visiting teams to partner and serve alongside us. But until that time, we will endeavour to follow God’s lead and innovate new ways to accomplish our goals.
